My visual art students are so motivated and inspired. They love learning about and talking about art and artists. I work in a charter school in Michigan. The majority of my students come to this school with a very limited understanding of art, but they quickly grow to appreciate it and enjoy it. Unfortunately a very small number have never had the opportunity to view art in a museum or a gallery and I want to provide them with as many chances to see artwork and experience it (at least!) in the classroom.
