I would very much like to teach my students how to tap dance using tap shoes. Students will learn varying styles of tap dance, including but not limited to Clogging and Irish Step Dance. Students will also learn about the historical aspect of tap dance including but not limited to Gregory Hines and Savion Glover. Students will also learn about the history of tap dance starting with the colonial time period extending to the modern era. Tap dance has been and continues to be a major style of dance, producing some of the most commercially successful dancers of the last century.

About my class
