My students will be expected to know how to use a keyboard and mouse and navigate simple programs in order to be successful in school. Many of my students are from other countries and very economically challenged. Most don't speak much English. Having technology available is critical to learning in this day and age. The computer in my room has been broken for the past 2 years, and the technology is very outdated. It's important that I find a way to replace the technology and Mac computers are too expensive. My students will be able to use this iPad to learn things outside the classroom.
