My students have real-life skills for survival. What they don't have is the access to resources that allow them to easily transfer these real-life skills into 21st Century success. By utilizing these simple machine and WeDo programming kits, they will begin this process. 21st Century learners need to be able to think critically about a task, test multiple ideas to find the best solution, and defend this best solution to others. These kits will allow my students to begin mastering these skills as they test a variety of scenarios and hypotheses to discover with real testing what works and what does not work.
