I'm just starting off in my 6th grade classroom and I want it to focus on getting students excited about reading. I'm trying to build up my classroom library with books I've read and can get students excited about. The books selected such as "Wonder" or "The Outsiders" are books I know students will enjoy! Scholastic News is a monthly magazine that will get students excited about what is going on in the world. We can read them as a class and have classroom debates using what was read, they can be used a resource for projects as well! Thank you for your donation! It really helps to my class!
