I am currently in the process of setting up the classroom for my fifth graders and I desperately need some books for my classroom library. As a first-year teacher, I do not have the ability to afford books right now and I would hate it if my students' academic success is hindered because of my inability. By donating to this project, you will make it possible for these fifth graders to have their own classroom library and expand their knowledge of the world. With these new texts, my students will have access to literacy through the context of science and social-emotional learning that will allow them to grow more independently as fifth-grade readers.

About my class
