Children carry enough weight from the world on their shoulders outside of the classroom. The last thing they need is to have to come into the classroom to deal with even more stressors. This is the major reason why I am requesting beanbags chairs for my classroom. I would like to create an area within my classroom for students to go when they need to have a break or to relax. The purpose of this project is to help create an environment within the classroom that allows students to be more relaxed as they learn or to take a short, temporary mental break from learning all together before trying again. Through this type of learning environment, students will be better equipped and even more ready and willing to learn what's being presented them.
