Our astronaut club focuses on the aspects of space exploration and life in space. From designing Martian or lunar landing crafts, creating systems that use solar energy, to conceptualizing possible experiments to conduct on the ISS, and also experiencing different propulsion systems- students get the chance to hands on explore the possibilities. The planning of the various builds, the peer discussions, the actual building of the kit items, and hands on activities excite the students as they get to see AND test the outcomes as they build. The students are posed with the question: how can we do that on Mars? as our theme this year.
