My wish list is simple, but will enhance student achievement in big ways! My students have great ideas but have difficulty keeping up with their train of thought. The headphones with a mic will enable them to simply speak and their ideas will be written for them. It will then allow us to edit and modify their assignments. Addressing the different modalities of learning leads to greater success. Listening to books, passages or other audio opportunities enhances comprehension. My students are all below level readers which impacts their learning across all subject areas. If I can create a sense of accomplishment in one subject matter, it will lead to higher understanding in other subjects.
