Establishing routines is essential for Pre-K students. These charts will help establish that. Establishing a routine is essential to a Pre-K classroom, it takes away the unpredictability and allows for learning to take place. The Calendar Math Activity program will reinforce basic math skills by providing daily practice. This will establish a daily routine and help students master skills such as counting and problem solving. The chart will be used at the beginning of our math time. It will help transition my students, and get their littles minds thinking like mathematicians. The Circle Time Learning Center incorporates skills such as counting, and letter recognition. This chart will be used during our circle time to begin each day. The kinetic sand will allow for my students to explore through their senses. I have also requested double sided white boards because my students will start off the year being able to draw pictures of stories we read, but I plan on them eventually being able to write short sentences.
