"Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story!" About half of our students have never been in a school setting, for a five year old that can be pretty terrifying. It is my job as their teacher to make them feel welcomed, safe, and interested in learning. I am giving these children a foundation that will set them up for a life time love of learning. I have asked for books that will spark the interest of young minds and encourage them to create a love of reading as well as teach them basic reading skills. I have also included several hands on activities that the students can learn through non traditional methods. These resources will set my students up for an engaging Kindergarten Year! Let's do this together to give them a great year!
