My students usually have difficulty reading in English, and this is usually due to their lack of confidence. We have used various programs that read aloud to them to serve as a model for fluency and pronunciation. These headphones with microphones, along with a recording device, will help students read grade-level informational texts aloud in order to gain confidence and track their progress. Subscriptions to Scholastic News are ideal because this classroom magazine contains informational texts with timely information. When students are able to listen to themselves read, they will be able to correct themselves and increase their confidence in reading while also gaining knowledge of current events. These materials will be wonderful for my students. Thank you for your support.
