In my experience so far in teaching, and everything that I've learned over the years in my own education, is that flexible seating and hands on activities for your students can go a long way in gaining and keeping the focus from your students who struggle. I am a strong proponent of STEM and integrating as many design thinking and hands on activities as you can within the other main subjects to help students truly think and dive deeper into their learning.
