It will be great to have Google Chromecasts for our classroom. This will allow me to cast from my Chromebook from anywhere in the classroom. This would be a great asset since I have 5 LED TV's that are positioned around my room and a Chromecast on each would allow me to cast specific information to the TV nearest students who need assistance. Students would also greatly benefit from this since students could use their Chromebooks to cast the project they are working on to the LED TV nearest them so that they can all see what the project is at the same time. Students will use the Chromecasts to work on their projects, which cover the topics of Automation and Robotics, Green Architecture, and Computer Science. This will increase their ability to collaborate and develop these course related projects in a more efficient way.
Currently since the TV's in my room do not have Chromecast the only way that I can project to the TV's is by attaching an HDMI Cable or by project to just one TV at a time. With the Chromcasts I would be able to cast to every TV at a time and students will be able to cast their screen to the individual TV's as well, which they currently are not able to do.
