The use of free choice seating will help my students learn that they are in control of their own learning and all different learning types are respected. My little ones are just starting their educational path and it is so important their first impressions of school and learning are positive. These materials that I have chosen give my students the opportunity to really think about how they learn best in a classroom environment as well as know that I trust them to do their work because they are in charge of choosing how they work. Young learners deserve a chance to be successful by choosing their own learning environment and what works best for them. I am so excited to see all my students can do when they are working in a way that makes them successful and enjoying school! My job is to figure out how my students learn best and provide as many opportunities for them to show their potential. I plan to use the flexible seating during book time, writing time, and centers.
