The Flexible Seating materials chosen for this project will allow scholars to first and foremost have a choice. Self-management and making responsible decisions will permit scholars to make choices about their space and where they will learn in the classroom. The Bean Bags encourage scholars to share by taking turns in different locations and with alternative seating options and that promotes community. Flexible Seating Comfy Floor Seats allows collaboration to occur. Students can quickly move and pair up in small groups if needed to complete projects, class assignments or discuss topics. This type of seating allows this type of seating can be moved from classroom to classroom Lastly, students are more engaged, motivated and gives them the power to choose how they can be successful in the learning process when allowed to choose.
