During our language arts classes, we learn about series books and the authors that write them. Students love to read series books and can learn a great deal from these outstanding authors. They read them during reading time and at home, then they can use them to serve as mentor texts for writers workshops and other assignments. With these new books, students will become better readers! These collections of series books are series that sixth grade students are excited to read. Series books get children hooked on reading because once they read one book and love it; they want to read them all!
