I am a Physical Education Specialist in the San Lorenzo Unfied School District. Each day I work with General Education students, grades 1-5, on developing an appreciation for creating and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. To achieve this goal, my students are involved in a PE curriculum which has them practicing a variety of movement and sports based skills, physical fitness concepts, dance, and recreational activities. Students are challenged to push their boundaries, through individual, peer, and group based activities which emphasize personal responsibility and collaboration. As an educator, it is a goal of mine to give ALL of my students different avenues to develop their health, regardless of skill or ability level. Providing a diverse curriculum allows each student to make meaningful connections in areas where they have interests in. Thank you for your support of my DonorsChoose project!
