Through the generous donations of tools and supplies, I will be enabled to add exciting dimensions to many of the projects we are doing in green architecture, energy and environment curriculum as well as our design club on Wednesdays. In Green Architecture my students are building dog houses from repurposed discarded lumber I gathered from local building sites. Students will donate dog houses to local animal rescue groups. The tools and supplies such as saw batteries, blades, speed squares will help us to more effectively complete this project of dog houses. In energy and environment, students will use vises, 3-D printer supplies, to accomplish hands-on projects used to teach problem-solving and design principles. On Wednesday's design clubs students will benefit from the donation of vises, wood-burning sets and speed squares, saw blades to accomplish design projects.
