I would like to add these stories to our classroom library to help my students understand how they need to act in certain circumstances as well as helping them feel comfortable in the Kindergarten classroom setting. Some of the books I have chosen directly teach social objectives that I feel are important for Kindergarteners to start learning. For example, I would like to use the book Tattle Tongue to help me teach my students when it is important to inform an adult. Often, students learn well when they can listen to the read aloud and participate in a discussion with the class.
