Professional Development is key to growth, as education is ever-changing! Due to COVID-19, in this current climate of social distancing and virtual education, teaching and learning as we’ve known it has changed drastically! In this, our new climate, we are required to incorporate the use of technology like never before. In my current roles, I work with students and I facilitate professional learning for the teachers with whom I work with. Obtaining these materials will provide me with a space for organization and tools for support to support our goal of student achievement. We have all been placed in a situation where we must re-imagine what professional development, teaching, and learning looks like. As educators, we had to quickly move out of our comfort zones to ensure that teaching and learning never stopped. In order to do that, we must ensure that we have the necessary tools to help our students achieve success.
