The students in my classroom are coming from low-income families. They need flexible seating to be at their most successful in the classroom. The microphone is needed for my students who are still learning English. This will allow them to feel comfortable in the classroom, and it will project their voices loudly so they can be heard while participating in classroom meetings. My students need to feel comfortable in the classroom to be successful. My goal is to help them succeed by offering flexible seating(bean bags and stools) and a microphone. I want my first year as a teacher to be great and to do that I want to be able to allow the students to express themselves fully. I am working in a Title I school with students who need support the most. I want my students to be able to sit in different seats so that they can move around the room while they are working. This will provide the students who need to move around while working a safe place to work.
