My classroom is generally covered from wall to wall with student work. The construction paper, markers and colored pencils will be put to good use when students are working in groups to create a project, or when they are individually working on an assignment that has a creative and visual component to it. Many of my students are original and creative, and I love showcasing their work by displaying it throughout the classroom as well as on the bulletin boards in the halls. Posters are also excellent as they show information that students can use throughout the year. They can generate posters that describe characters, illustrate examples of literary devices or define difficult vocabulary words.
