As a grade level we will use these books as take home readers for our students. These Little Leveled Readers will help establish a solid foundation and love for reading in our students. Beginning readers often struggle to find books that are “good fit” books for them. Oftentimes they become frustrated because all the resources around them are just too difficult for them. By helping me fund this project I will be able to motivate them that reading can be fun and exciting even at a basic reading level. I believe that if students enjoy what they are reading, it will always be much easier for them to fall in love with reading!
