My students need help understanding how the world is interconnected and how they too play an important part in its development and progress. Using atlases, globes, and warm-up activities will assist students in seeing how the world is projected and seen through different perspectives. Knowing these perspectives will aid in building comprehension about the importance of learning both history and geography. My students need a better understanding of the world around them and their place in it. Using these new books and materials will aid in building geographic reasoning and historical contextualization. These skills are essential for success in Social Studies and life.
