My students will be exploring computer science through a variety of projects programming their creativity into things like games, websites, and apps. My lab needs keyboards and mouses to navitagte on their computers to create their projects. A color printer and scanner will allow them to use personal pictures and allow me to print and showcase examples of my students projects around our room. These materials will help me to get my lab fully functional and up and running. I am excited for my students to be able to create authentic projects using our computer lab and each have the same opportunity to work individually. Having all working equipment will make a huge difference for every student I serve in my classroom. Instead of always pair sharing if they have a great project idea they can work more independently to be able to showcase to the class. They will be able to listen to essential videos when needed and use shortcuts on the keyboards with all the keys attached.
