One of the main ways we will be using these headphones for is to learn English and not to interupt the students next to them. The diversity of this school with all the different languages is extremely important for the kids to have headphones. Exploring the world through computers open up a world to these students that will and can open their minds and opportunities that they might not have. Their faces light up when they see what is out there for them to explore, learn and go. I see over 1100 students a week and the majority of them love computers and exploring. It is very difficult and hard to do my job when my headphones do not work. They need computer skills to compete in this world. Most of these students do not have any computers at home, so their time in here is priceless.
