I am requesting funding for additional book sets to add to our guided reading collection, as well as the magazine which has engaging topics. I also want students to learn about important figures in history, and important figures who shaped our nation. It is also important for students to learn about historical figures from their respective cultures. I also hope to impact my students by learning about our rich history, discover their love of reading, and embrace the beautiful diversity of our country. I think this generation will need as much help as they can get with environmental challenges such as global warming. If we were to dive deep in the nonfiction texts, we may inspire students to become environmental scientists and engineers. They may save our world as we know it. Thank you for considering this project!
