My first graders love to read and write! I want to provide an experience for my students in which they are allowed to express themselves as they dive deep into literacy instruction. Through this project, each student will have access to personal and class-wide materials that will give them that experience. The primary journals will give my first graders the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas, and brilliant stories. During whole group lessons, students will be able to apply and connect reading and writing skills as we create anchor charts and interactive writing activities. I am excited to see my students using these materials as they succeed in the classroom!
