I am requesting Fablehaven books to instill in my students a love of reading. My daughter's love of reading started when she began to read the Fablehaven series and met the author, Brandon Mull. This passion has continued throughout her teenage years and into her early adulthood. Reading is one of the best ways for children to develop their minds, imaginations and communication skills. It is something that will have a lifelong impact on these young people. Some of the most successful individuals in our society today site their voracious reading habits as a key to their success. The use of whiteboards in the classroom will help my students quickly grasp the math concepts that I will be teaching them. This will also reduce our dependence on paper which allows us to be environmentally sensitive. The whiteboards will be utilized daily and give me the ability to quickly scan the room to see who is understanding the concepts being taught. The boards will also be used in small or whole groups to enhance the children's learning.
