Our school is over one hundred years old and the oldest on the island. The air quality in our classrooms is poor and often gets in the way of learning. Every year, teachers work diligently to clean the dust out of the classrooms at our school to make it the best possible learning environment for students. As a teacher, I notice how my student's allergies and breathing are impacted by indoor air pollutants inhaled in the classroom everyday, especially those who have asthma. As a teacher, we strive to create the healthiest learning environment possible for our students so they can thrive and be successful. I would greatly appreciate it if you could support my classroom this year by providing my students with an air purifier so they can focus in a clean, comfortable learning space.
