Readers Workshop, Writers Workshop, Centers, etcetera! In my class, students are given the freedom to choose any comfortable work space in the room that allows their brain to "Work hard and work smart!" With these portable lap desks, students will be able to create a work space anywhere they choose while providing the surface needed to produce their best work! At 5 years old, my students love working on the floor, under the tables, and just about anywhere else you might think of! My students currently use our chairs and stools as a writing surface when working on the floor. I strive to create an environment where my students have the power to make decisions that effect their work. These Portable Lap Desks would be a great addition to our classroom!
