My students love sharpening their skills through in class challenges. Addition and subtraction fact mastery is a key component of their success in third grade. Our third grade Math curriculum really kicks up the expectations. Numeracy skills regarding addition and subtraction facts not only assist them with overall computation, but with problem solving. Problem solving involving all math content is prevalent throughout our third grade year. Math Fact Ninjas not only increase their mastery of addition and subtraction facts, but it motivates and encourages them. The students love keeping track of their progress with their Ninja band pencils and they look forward to the fun challenge every week! Third grade is awesome!
