A document camera will help my students visualize and grasp complex mathematical processes. It will enable myself to model more efficiently and effectively. It will also support critical thinking as it will allow students to explain and display their thought process. Not only will it help make learning fun, a document camera will make it easier for my students to conceptualize and remember the concepts they have just learned. An image is an excellent way to unravel and present a topic. Not only will it draw my students attention, it will enable them to see what they are learning. A picture is indeed worth a thousand words.
