These books will help guide open and honest discussions about celebrating the diversity of our classroom. They will also help our students love themselves and to foster a mindset for growth. Books that reflect the diversity in our classroom will empower our students. Thats why it is important to build a classroom library for all different types of students. They will be able to relate to and see themselves in these stories and carry with them the connections they make. By hearing and reading of stories of love and acceptance of themselves and others, our students can continue to be leaders in our community as they demonstrate love and acceptance themselves.
