Students will engage in weekly cooking lessons, recipe preparation, and meal planning to prepare develop their life skills. Students will use the Lego blocks for sensory, tactile, and hands-on learning experiences to develop cooperative learning and following directions. Lego blocks will also be used for token board rewards. The headphones will provide the students with the opportunity to listen to books on listening devices to develop their listening comprehension and oral responding abilities. Diversified learners, in a classroom that meets the many different needs and goals of each student! Students will be provided hands-on experiences with cooking and building and the chance to have a book read to them!
