Having a clean learning environment is integral to ensuring students remain healthy so they can come to school each day and learn. Supplies such as tissues, soap, and hand sanitizer go quickly in elementary school and can be costly to the classroom teacher. As the weather changes, the need for these items increases creating an even larger burden on the teacher as well as causing more students to be absent from school. Making sure my students have clean noses and hands as well as using antibacterial wipes to make sure we have clean desks, computers, and other commonly used items will help create a germ-free learning environment so that we will succeed in third grade. Having enough of these supplies means students won't have to leave the classroom for simple tasks such as blowing a nose or washing their hands afterward.
