Oh, the things we will create! My students will finally be able to bring their designs to life with the Cricut Maker system. Students in my Home & Career Skills and Career & Financial Management classes will be excited to use the Cricut machine to take their projects and ideas to the next level. Students will be able to take the logos they design during our Consumer Rights Unit and transfer them onto window stickers, t-shirts, and aprons! These students will also be able to design their sewing projects and use the machine to cut the fabric, then utilize their hand-sewing skills to assemble their product. High School Students will use the design process to bring out their inner entrepreneur when they use the system to create products for a small business in the classroom. T-shirts, mugs, engravings, puzzles, 3D-models and more. The limits are only the imagination of the students. Designing, planning and producing the products will enhance business and financial management skills through our classroom business endeavor. What else can we do? Raise school spirit by creating stencils, posters and vinyl decals for our classrooms, cafeteria, and hallways. This all-purpose creativity system will add incredible value to the project-based activities in my classroom bringing everything to the next level!
