Active based learning is academic learning using purposeful movement. It gives students the opportunity to move and learn in an appropriate manner while reading! Research has shown that active movement while learning maximizes students' learning. Biking while reading will help students release their extra energy and give them focus in a positive and appropriate way. This will allow them to read for longer periods which assists with reading stamina. To help our students increase their brain activity and learning while reading, I would like to add 2 exercise bikes with desks to our library. This will allow the students opportunities to enjoy reading while pedaling away any stress or anxiety.
