My students need these materials, which will transform into fun, engaging, hands-on science centers. Students will gain fine-motor and social skills while engaging in these activities. Students are naturally more engaged and focused when they use their hands to explore the world around them. My students need Playstix and Geostix, construction manipualtives and builiding sets to get hands-on experience with how real world things are constructed. These will be perfect for teamwork and thinking outside of the box to construct and build. The Letter Construction Activity Set will be crucial for letter recognition. By using these manipulatives, the students will build strength in their fine-motor skills which will be beneficial in their handwriting development. Studies have shown that children's early interests directly influence their interests later in life. It is my goal to set a positive learning experience for my students, these materials will be a large step toward reaching my goal.
