My project will consist of using the iPad to enhance my student's curiosity through technology. We will be sharing the iPad I requested as a class until we can further be provided with a few more to work on apps that will allow the students to utilize a green screen and align their videos to our social studies curriculum. As a social studies teacher who has integrated writing , my students will also be utilizing the pencil sharpener for their essays. We spend so much time sharpening pencils with our current sharpener attached to the wall that precious time is wasted. The iPad will also assist in the practice of my students speaking the English language. This is vital to the success of their future. By donating, I am confident that you will provide my students with an opportunity to have an unforgettable school year. Training them to use technology will allow them opportunities they may not have at home or in their surroundings. I want to keep my students engaged and with a simple device such as an iPad, I am sure Mrs. Sanchez's Social Studies class will never be the same.
