I want to add a washer and dryer to the dramatic play center so the students can pretend to wash the dress up clothes from the center and a market stand so that I can periodically change the dramatic play kitchen into a grocery store, bakery or a restaurant. I can't wait to see my students cooperating and role-playing with the new dramatic play materials. I am looking forward to being invited to attend their "birthday parties", "eat" their cookies and cakes, "order" from their restaurants and "shop" in their grocery store. The new materials will foster their creativity and increase their language skills. They can pretend to care for their family by preparing meals, feeding the baby and washing clothes, be a shopkeeper and sell groceries, a waiter or waitress and wait on customers or a baker and bake cakes and cookies. The creative possibilities are as endless as their imaginations.
