My students will be able to enjoy learning through a variety of flexible seating .Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. This flexible seating will also be used during small group instruction to help differentiate for students. In our homes, we have different types of seating to fit our comforts. Since school is just a different type of home environment- students can fit their learning style to their comfort need. Therefore, increasing their ability to explore and learn with a smile on their face. Flexible sensory seating allows students to be ready to learn in a environment that creates excitement and engagement. My students will be able to choose to sit on portable laptop desks, wobble cushions, balance balls, benches, and stools. We are excited for the possibility of this new environment.These seating choices will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out.
