The library is the heart of any school and should be a welcoming place for students to come in and have the opportunity to read and learn. For most of the students at my school, coming to the school library is the only opportunity they get to read books. My library has a few area rugs for students to use as well as a couple of couches and pillows. I would like to bring in flexible seating to not only make the library look more appealing for the students but also a place for them to be able to read their books comfortably. Having flexible seating in the library will allow them to take charge of their learning and make the choices that best suit them. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options for reading their books as well as create excitement for coming to the library. The floor table will allow them to read or work comfortably on the floor whether it is a homework assignment or a research paper. The comfortable floor chairs and bean bag chairs will allow for more comfortable reading options for the students. Because they are lightweight the students will be able to move the chairs in any part of the library they want to read or work at. I want to see my students get even more excited about coming to the library to read books. Coming to the library more often to read will benefit them with their education. I hope that by having this new seating area, students will be more excited to open a book and read!
