One novel will be assigned to each student. They will be allowed to take them home for assignments. The books are a necessity to be used in class when annotating and gaining a critical understanding of Native Inhabitant lifestyle during this historical California time period. For my students to procure a higher level of thought processing the novels are a requirement for them to draw textual evidence to support their comprehension of this authentic time period. My students need daily access to the novel to access the historical context of the impact that history had on the California Native Americans.

About my class
