My students are incredible! Each one of them is unique in their own way and I have learned something new about each one of them each day. This group has a big need, which goes hand in hand with their educational need. These students need support, encouragement, structure and consistency. The social/emotional needs of these students are just as important as their academic needs and I strive to support them in a positive way. My goal is that they always know that I am on their side, no matter what. My classroom is a work in progress considering I am a 1st year teacher. I am finding resources little by little, but I am confident that our classroom will soon suit all their needs.
