My students are part of a Title 1 program, where most receive free breakfast and lunch, maybe the only meals they have for that day. They are a diverse and multi-cultural group of kids. I want to be able to make my classroom an engaging environment of exploration and inquisition for Math and Science through hands-on manipulatives, mini lessons, interactive games, books, and activities, where they are able to forget for a short time their struggles they may face at home and enjoy and aspire for a greater future through school. These materials will help with student achievement by increasing student interest, independent learning, and creative thinking. Please help me supply my class. Thank you.
