I am the advisor to our school's Rubik's cube club. Students of all levels, backgrounds, and middle school ages are welcome to come be a part of an amazing group. They work together to learn well over fifty algorithms needed to solve the cube. They are developing speed both as individuals and as a team. By donating to this project we will be able to have more Rubik's cubes to teach more students how to solve them and practice for team events. Team events require us to bring 25 Rubik's brand speed cubes, which we currently do not have. Your donation will help. The Rubik's 2x2 cubes offer different challenges and algorithms to enjoy. Perservance, growth mind set and leadership skills are developed alongside the academics of the cube. Spatial intelligence, problem solving, patience and focus are developed in this group. Geometry and algebra are used with the end result of a sense of accomplishment. The team competition builds in strategy, cooperation, and excitement while building strong bonds that reach beyond our school walls.
