These items listed are necessary to have in every classroom. I am starting from scratch and added items that I feel are essentials. Many more items will be added to my list once I learn my students and what they require to learn. These are the essentials that any teacher would need as a first year educator like folders, pencils,and board games. I am pretty crafty, so I will be creating many of my own decorations and learning material for my students but I will definitely need the laminator/sheets to do so. Many of my students goals are addition and subtraction. I will need manipulative and flash cards to help me teach them math. Analog clocks, and coins/dollars, calculators are all needed to meet their IEP goals. I will need board games and CVC cards to help my students initiate conversation and work on their speech goals. Organization is key, so some of the material in my cart will help me keep my students' files in order and make my first year teaching easier.
