Because education is changing to meet the needs of 21 Century students, my students need a carpet for the group lesson area. Often a mini-lesson is given then my students are off to work independently, as partners, or in small groups. Instead of students sitting at desks in rows all day, today's students are actively collaborating and choosing the best place to learn. Having a carpet to soften our extremely hard floor will allow students to focus during mini-lessons. Also, it will provide a great place for students to read independently or with partners, confer about projects, and problem solve. Please help us solve our problem by helping to fund carpets for our classroom. .
